Hello, Everyone! Today, we wanted to share our favorite recipe with you for making face cream with real aloe vera.

Required ingredients for 100g of cream: • Aloe vera leaf (optional: 2 tablespoons of aloe vera gel) • 60 ml prickly pear hydrosol (you can use another hydrosol) • 20 ml olive oil • 20 ml sesame oil • 5 g Olivem 1000 (natural emulsifier, derived from olive oil) • 20 drops of natural preservative DHA BA (based on peptides) • 5 drops of vitamin E (as a natural antioxidant) • 5 drops of coenzyme Q10 • 5 drops of thyme essential oil (you can use your favorite). Additional items: • Kitchen scale • Blender • Jar • Thermometer

Preparation:

  1. Gather fresh aloe vera gel from the aloe vera leaf, then mash it in a bowl to obtain a smooth gel.
  2. Melt the oils in a water bath. When the temperature reaches 70°C, add Olivem 1000.
  3. Heat the hydrosol to 50°C.
  4. Mix the hydrosol with the oil phase (remember to keep the oil phase temperature between 55-65°C and the hydrosol between 45-55°C) using a blender.
  5. Once you have obtained a fairly thick and uniform mass, wait until the temperature drops below 30°C and add the remaining ingredients.
  6. Mix thoroughly and pour the cream into a clean jar.

This cream perfectly moisturizes, nourishes, and soothes the skin, leaving it radiant and healthy. It’s the ideal way to care for your skin naturally, harnessing the richness of nature in your daily skincare routine.

Advantages of homemade creams over store-bought creams

  1. Control over ingredients: By making creams yourself, you have full control over the ingredients that go into the product. You can avoid harmful chemicals often found in commercial cosmetics.
  2. Freshness and naturalness: Homemade creams are fresh and free of artificial additives and preservatives, making them more natural and healthier for the skin.
  3. Individual customization: You can customize the cream recipe to your individual needs and skin preferences, allowing you to create a product perfectly suited to your skin.
  4. Greater effectiveness: Many ingredients used in homemade creams have nourishing and therapeutic properties, which can bring better results for the skin than commercial cosmetics.
  5. Satisfaction from homemade production: Making creams at home can be not only beneficial for the skin but also satisfying as a creative activity. You can enjoy a sense of achievement, seeing how your own skincare products benefit your skin.
